Tennesee Valley Authority is Launch Customer for the ZoloBOSS

Boulder, Colorado – September 17, 2004 –Zolo Technologies is pleased to announce a purchase order from one of North America’s largest utilities –Tennessee Valley Authority – for the first dedicated installation of Zolo’s leading combustion optimization sensor system, the ZoloBOSS.

TVA will purchase one full ZoloBOSS system for installation at their Gallatin, Tennessee, steam plant, and has expressed interest in several follow-on systems.

The ZoloBOSS system will be installed on a 240MW combustion engineering utility boiler to measure temperature, O2, H2O, CO and CO2, which will allow TVA to optimize the combustion process and reduce emissions from the unit.

Delivery of the system and start up will take place in January 2005.
