Leading coal-fired power plant in northern Colorado selects ZoloBOSS to reduce emissions

Boulder, Colorado –3 November , 2005 – One of the USA's leading power generating facilities, located in northern Colorado, has recently selected Zolo Technologies' ZoloBOSS (TM) to deliver enhancements related to the combustion of coal. The deployment of the ZoloBOSS will allow this utility to reduce emissions while maintaining plant efficiency and availability.

The ZoloBOSS system will deliver in-situ measurements directly in the combustion zone, and at the economizer exit. Measurements of interest for optimization are Oxygen, Carbon Monoxide and Temperature. The system will deliver these, and other constituent measurements directly to the control room for optimization use.
