Colorado Governor’s Office For “New Energy Economic Development” Awards Zolo Technologies Grant For Green Technology Innovation

BOULDER, Colorado – February 6, 2008 – Zolo Technologies, Inc. is chosen by the Colorado Governor, Bill Ritter’s Energy Office to receive a portion of the $350,000 awarded for “New Energy Economic Development” (NEED). Zolo Technologies will receive $25,000 in grant funds for efforts in contributing to energy efficiency and green technology specifically in coal-fired power plants. The award is a part of the first round of grants given to eight innovative Colorado companies. “These grants are giving organizations a ‘hand up’ in advancing emerging energy technologies into the marketplace that help us reduce our energy usage and carbon footprint,” Tom Plant, director of the energy office, said in a statement.
