ZoloBOSS &trade TPO Spectroscopy Sensor

Measure Temperature, H2O, O2, CO, CO2, NH2, and NO2 all by using one instrument. Likewise, instead of inferring what the gas temperature is at the superheater, send a laser beam along the front of the superheater and measure it. Or set up a grid of numerous laser beams to implement and see in 3-D how your combustion process is performing. The possibilities are endless. Anywhere a laser beam can go, measurements can be made.

In addition to the ability to measure multiple combustion constituents, Zolographics™ allows operators to make better combustion tuning decisions. Zolo can "map" your combustion constituents, and their distribution within the combustion zone, furnace exit, or backass. This ability is unique to the ZoloBOSS™ system, and can facilitate a true, real-time operator interface to your combustion process.

The measurement is non-contact and non-extractive, and no sensors intrude into the boiler. As the laser beams are sent from, and received into optical fibers, the instrumentation can be located in the control room, not on the boiler.

The installation is simple, requiring only a 2" access port. As the sensor consists of a beam of light, there are no sensor tips to wear out or replace - no reference gases are required, and there is no probe heating necessary. The system does not need calibration, and does not drift. 120V power is required forSensAlign™ heads, and minor installation of standard electrical conduit is suggested.
